  special interest travel

Our Special interest travel programs are made for groups of individuals who want to pursue a special theme, hobby or interest, and create a unique itinerary around it. This can relate to virtually any subject area - until now, we have never been unable to design and implement meaningful content around a requested topic.

The special interest becomes the key focus of the program - through site visits, interpersonal contact with relevant hosts, educational elements such as presentations, and a variety of learning and networking opportunities. All of this is then interwoven with intimate introductions to the host destination, its people, their preoccupations and culture, and a high-quality travel environment.

We benefit from a constantly growing portfolio and related contacts that range from grassroots or community level to leaders in government, the economy and society.

Example programs:

  • Development as freedom
  • Fair trade
  • Gender
  • History
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Local income generation
  • Microfinance
  • Photography
  • Post-conflict reconciliation and reconstruction
  • Religion and humanitarian projects
  • Special conservation efforts
  • Sports
  • The media and development
